I’m Eleanor Harrington, and after 24 wonderful years running Harrington Los Angeles. with my husband Jack, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to the boutique.
We’ve poured our hearts into this little shop on Melrose — from hand-picking fabrics to styling our loyal customers who became dear friends. It’s been our joy, our passion, and honestly, our second home.
But lately? Our grandkids have been stealing the show. Three little whirlwinds up in Oregon, and every time we visit, it gets harder to leave. So, we thought — why wait? Life’s too short not to chase giggles, muddy shoes, and pancake mornings.
We’re retiring to celebrate life, slow things down, and be full-time grandparents (and maybe part-time gardeners). Thank you, L.A., for all the love. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just our next great adventure.
